Barb started making jewelry over 20 years ago as a way to make money for college.
She graduated with a BS in Art with a graphic design concentration from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The name Pink House Designs was inspired by her very pink house in
Madison, WI, which she still lives in today.

"I admit it, I am a beadaholic. I am obsessed with beads and shiny things,
so making jewelry offers the perfect creative outlet."

Pink House Designs has gone through many creative phases over the years;
from Jewelry, to hand painted clothing, to hand-made books, to web design.
Along with designing and selling her jewelry, Barb currently maintains
six different websites for clients across the country, as well as working on
continuous graphic design projects.
